We acknowledge that we are living in the village of Yelanu, on unceded Ramaytush Ohlone land, to which the Coastanoan Rumsen Miwok also have a traditional ceremonial claim. This place was called San Francisco by colonists who displaced, enslaved, tortured, raped and trafficked native peoples in a multitude of genocides which are ongoing.
